Silver Appleyard

Community adopted and thriving. Bandit is a Silver Appleyard who enjoys the calm sanctuary lifestyle we provide.

Moxie

Swedish Blue

Virtually adopted by our community. Moxie is a Swedish Blue known for her spirited personality and love for the sanctuary family.

Feline Friends

Leela

Abandoned in a cage during a storm, Leela was rescued as a kitten when the local shelter was at capacity. Now safe and loved.

Whiskey

Born on a boat and tossed onto a marina dock. We found him alone and raised him to be our Mighty Mouse Hunter.

Pepper

Originally arrived for a short-term visit, Pepper decided the sanctuary was home and is now a permanent resident.

The Original Pack

Jade

The loyal heart of our pack. Jade was left behind by a local visitor and found her true family at the sanctuary.

River

River was bought to be a "truck dog," but preferred a peaceful life in the sanctuary instead. He's been here ever since.

Sweet Pea

After her owner passed away, we grew an immediate attachment to Sweet Pea and knew she belonged here for good.

Brave mother of the dogs dumped at the marina in March. Now resting safely in our care.

7 Months

Cassidy's eldest son. Rescued at 6 months old; learning that humans can be trusted and kind.

The white puppy found alongside Cassidy at just one week old. Growing stronger every day.

The runt of the marina rescue. A tiny black and tan miracle now thriving under sanctuary care.

The Gentle Giant

Otis

A retired show horse put out to pasture. When we bought the property, Otis came with it. After a year of patience, he finally trusts us enough to ask for snacks—though he still keeps a bit of his wild spirit.

Permanent Resident

Life at the sanctuary moves fast. We recently welcomed some unexpected news—new puppies may be joining the family soon! River has since been fixed, and both Echo and Cassidy are scheduled for the same as soon as it's safe for them to do so. We are committed to responsible care for every life here.
